Very simplistically, here is a scenario - a "way out" - that will not surprise me: I suspect this scenario, if it happens, will fit nicely into the worldview Professor e has laid out. In general, the USA will lead the world out. First, the process would start with several unequivocal victories for liberty in the US courts, now underway. The first domino to fall will be the vaccine mandates, followed by a declining appetite for lockdowns and then diminished enforcement of masking mandates as these shift from "mandatory" to "recommended" to "optional." The victory in the courts will be followed, a year from now, by substantial changes in the federal and state legislatures of the USA. This political shift may be accompanied by the physical demise of Biden, who is non compos mentis, and his hopelessly incompetent vice president. These and other failed leaders will be blamed for economic and public health failures, further demoralizing the left and encouraging a backlash from the right. Finally, the 2024 presidential election will usher in a new skeptical attitude toward public health officials and legal limits on their ability to control society. This scenario is the best I currently hope for. It will not be a perfect restoration of individual rights, only a start.

Team Reality must prevail. There are defeats and days that feel hopeless, but I've learned to appreciate every win, no matter how small. Eugyppius is correct, each move they are forced to make and heading toward their end because of the ridiculousness. Each booster, each variant, each lockdown, each contradictory policy awakens more believers. They are running out of hands to play. I fear that many people will only learn by watching someone die because they did not receive early treatment from a believer medical professional and/or relied on the 'protection' from the vaccine, or from going bankrupt over paying medical bills when their loved one succumbs to a serious vaccine injury at booster #2 or the Omicron specific injection.

I'm proud to be part of Team Reality. I'm thankful that I saw that something was very wrong from the onset and that I had the inclination to seek data and others' voices on my own. I'm proud to be amongst you all, across the world, with our eyes open.

Thank-you. I love this quote: "You should never do their work for them by despairing of an end."

I also appreciate you bringing up the 'cover for resignation' aspect of the global-cabal fixation. I still don't rule it out, but I also decline to engage with what I've called "staring into the abyss"--people who might be able to connect the dots really well, as to how this is all mass-planned an orchestrated, however offer absolutely NO solution, not even a course of constructive refusal, and no hope. I also agree, that the facts of the virus damn the bureaucracy and overreach itself.

I'm currently preparing my remarks for a County Supervisors meeting, where I will encourage them not to enact a mask mandate. My small effort. Thanks again.

Well, now that I’m thinking about it, these 2 years gave us s lot of red pills to hand out (regarding governments, bureaucracies, big Pharma, greed and media) and it gave us substack. For which I’m personally very grateful for.

Regarding the point about looking to who is censored and perceived threat - Alex Berenson is probably a good example. He sticks doggedly to data and the uselessness of the 'vaccines'. He refused and still refuses to embrace theories about the Reset and while that can be frustrating, I also understand his strict policy too. He was formerly a NYT Science Correspondent. Twitter permanently banned him earlier this year.

I must say this blog is some of the best writing on this nightmarish interlude (we hope and believe) that I've read in nearly two years of it.

Excellent summary of resistance theory put into practical terms. We must continue to push back in reasonable, data driven ways. Not hysterical, crazy conspiracy based ideals. Vax data showing failed efficacy is real and becoming more and more mainstream. Vax side effects are buried quickly and effectively by government, MSM and so called health professionals. This is most disturbing to myself and others yet the numbers are out there and as I have said many times, too big to ignore. As more people know someone directly impacted negatively by the vax, they will spread the word and it will grow. All that said, I still think the vax is a dark trick on humanity and is a tool for economic reset. Beyond stupidity and greed, there are truly evil groups behind all of this. Covid is lab made and purposely released. No accidents here. Why is "Build Back Better" on every major western leaders podium in unison? We are being played big time. Pray. Plan. Prepare. Resist.

The most demoralizing aspect - for me at least - is the readiness with which our fellow citizens, and even close family and friend, are accepting every lie they are given and eagerly stay in line for the boosters.

By now I am the last unvaccinated in my circle. (This of course says something about me getting out of that circle, getting out of Berlin)

But your article is hopeful. Eventually the lies of the bureaucrats and mass media will crash down; and when public opinion shifts, the opinion of my friends will shift to. This will be a relieve, maybe. But what I have seen cannot be unseen: the dogmatic, ignorant opportunism of my friends. I know how they would have been at other times in similar situations. My only hope is that they would have stopped at outright violence; but I suspect they would just have worked harder at ignoring it.

I very much agree with your last point: the ineptness of our bureaucracies is reason for hope.

I think it may be very specific to Germany, and maybe most of Western Europe. It is because in the last four decades we systematically have promoted mediocrity, and in the last 10 years outright stupidity. Often in the name of feminism. You only have to look at people like von Leyen or Baerbock to understand that having those people in power of extended periods of times will make any bureaucracy inept and inefficient.

What you need is a way out for the average joe, that *isnt humilating*. He has already been humiliated, and he is emotionally attached to the current narrative, because it contextualises and excuses his humiliation. That is, if he accepts that the media narrative is wrong, that means accepting that he has been humiliated, that he has given up his bodily autonomy, that he made a mistake. Many aspects. Emotionally invested, sunk cost in preferring to live in covid world – because it is preferable than admitting you’ve been had.

What you need to offer them is a way out that lets him keep his dignity. I think a correct marketing angle on something like the omikron situation could be exactly that.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-12-03/omicron-up-close-south-africa-s-experts-tell-their-stories

you just need to change the narrative a bit so it becomes something like "everyone being a big and brave boy and getting the vacoain, is what lead to the om-var/spanish flu style "pleasant normal safe" version of the disease", you have to flatter and pat them on the back. you can sell this to the average joe.

"yes everything was rough there for a while but you were all such good boys and so brave and honest, that now we forced the disease to evolve into a version that infects a lot, but is completely harmless. This new version is perfectly mild and safe and no one will ever die"

something like that, just with less snark.

How did george jr win in iraq? He just said he did. Mission accomplished. We won. Good job everyone.

Hi Ya'll. I just want everyone to know that life is pretty much back to normal here in Texas. I haven't worn an obedience mask in over a year. I just got back from a Christmas party with about 50 people in a home and kids running all over the place. No one wore a mask, I didn't know anyone's vaccine status, and as far as I could tell, no one really cared if you were vaxxed or not vaxxed or if you had the booster. Didn't come up once. We are pretty much over it. Biden is a joke, Fauci is a joke. The mainstream media is a joke. The democrats overall are a joke and their agenda is finished. Stay strong and keep the faith, sanity will prevail in the end.

"However dark things look right now, we will get out of this."

Thanks. I needed this today. Irishman and fighting vlogger Dave Cullen gives such encouragement, too, and like you, he is in a much tougher situation than am I.

To quote the sage advice of the wallstreetbets autists during the GME meltdown: "HOLD YOU FSCKING RETARDS. HOLD".

All we have to do is keep stalling. Every day is closer to "epic fail" on their part.

Like Mr Corbett was saying, make them tell you to put on a mask, make them tell you to stand further away, make your employer give you written notices, don't quit but threaten whatever you think works. Lawsuits, notice of liability or channel your inner "Bobcat Goldthwaite" and make them think you are about to lose it. Proudly display National Rifle Ass or Gun Owners of A in your place of work. Follow them home and post pictures of their house around work.

In a system where literal war crimes are being done to oneself, I feel fully entitled to mess with them any and every way I feel like. Use your best judgement and HAVE FUN. Hey it's not like I'm going anywhere or can do anything so I'll have to amuse ourselves. Idle hands and the devil's workshop kind of stuff.

Yes, a mask on a face sends a message. I own a face mask that says "THIS MASK IS USELESS". I rarely wear it however, because I wear masks on the chin, and this way the text is not readable.

I think talking science leads you too a losing argument. I think the best place to push is living with courage un-afraid of the virus. Regardless of the data or the science nobody feels good about being a coward. It shames people when you live your life as normally as you can. When they are ready to ask questions then show them alternative studies and data.

Start by refusing to wear a mask. I walk through SFO without a mask on, and I’m starting to see others remove their mask after seeing me with mine off. Besides the plane, I never wear a mask in San Francisco or any place for that matter, and am often told to put one on. When this happens, I take my business elsewhere. If London Breed can go clubbing maskless, I can walk into a coffee shop without a mask on for a cup of coffee.
